OK grant it I'm not very good at 'Name that tune' must have something to do with the pressure. But when it comes to Led Zeppelin I pretty much know all of their songs. Get The Led out has been on KKZX for decades. Yesterday I got a request for a song called Hammer of the Gods and the listener said it's a Led Zeppelin song. My answere to that was there is no such song. So I played him something else. But then on my office phone he left a message saying I was wrong and there is a song called Hammer of The Gods. OK, let me be clear, and if I hadn't been in my All Request Classic Cafe mode I would have explained to him that there is a song with that line in it but that isn't the title. My slow wiited mind however was boggled by a brain freeze or I would have told him that, that is a line out of the song "Immigrant Song". It's also the name of a tribute band.
It's that time of year again when rear wheel drive vehicles find themselves at the mercy of lady luck. Will they get you to work or won't they. That ton of cat litter in the trunk might help but it won't help your gas mileage. Mustangs and old Mercedes should be put in the garage and Miata's 'fuh get about it'. But before I start tooting my horn my front wheel drive Mazda gets around everthing except a large lump of snow ole Man Winter can be a thorn in the side of those low profile tires. It is kind of strange to me that every year people seem to forget how to drive in this stuff. Yesterday my sons' friends came over and tried to get him to join them in a party they were forming at the bottom of the Freya hill. Apparently watching people unsuccessfully traverse the treacherous hill was a hoot. (I talked them out of that adventure). If however you have some pictures(or video) of people trying to navigate our icy terrain without injury send em in and we'll share. A friend sent me a picture of someone flying along in a scooter around those big rear wheel drive vehicles and it was hilarious.
