Biography

Los Angeles, CA, native Janet Robin was first drawn to music by the inspiration of a musically inclined brother. When she was around six years old, she took guitar lessons and trained in both classical and folk. After about four years, she switched to electric rock, studying under a local man named Randy Rhoads. After years of practice and playing little gigs at colleges and clubs or wherever she could, Robin got her first real break when her talent won her the position of guitarist for Lindsey Buckingham, who was a one-time member of Fleetwood Mac. Robin gained lots of experience touring through the United States and Canada with the band. After a few years, though, she had earned enough confidence to try a solo career.
